Minnesota West Community and Technical College (MWCTC) is excited to welcome Logan Schrader as the executive director of the Minnesota State Energy Center of Excellence.
“We are thrilled to welcome Logan Schrader as the new executive director of the Minnesota State Energy Center of Excellence,” said Art Brown, Provost at MWCTC. “Logan’s experience and dedication to our region and state make him an ideal leader for this role. We look forward to the innovative contributions he will bring to the Center.”
Schrader has more than 10 years of experience in communications, community building, and developing educational experiences for college students. He has served as the communications coordinator for the Energy Center since 2022. Before that, he held various student affairs roles at private and public institutions in Minnesota and Colorado. He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree in leadership in student affairs from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
“The greatest asset we have is community, people committed to building a skilled and inclusive workforce. We will power Minnesota, together,” Schrader said. “I’m excited to continue the work we’ve started and look forward to the innovation tomorrow brings.”
In his new role, Schrader will seek to expand partnerships, raise awareness of the mission and value of the Energy Center, and cultivate networks among students, educators, and industry professionals. His familiarity with the Center and leadership will play a critical role in growing and nurturing initiatives across the state.
